About Us

It is the mission of Fire District #13, Inc.

to provide fire protection, basic life support, hazardous materials incident response to the Operational Level, and Public Fire Education to Citizens, commercial and industrial occupancies of this tax district.

The services will be provided in a timely fashion. Fire District #13, Inc. will also provide mutual aid assistance to any other recognized agency that requests our assistance to the best of our ability when called upon. Fire District #13, Inc. will make every effort to comply and abide by all recognized local, state and federal standards where possible and will provide the safest work environment that we possibly can for our personnel.

Reporting Calls

When to Call 911

Call 9-1-1 during an emergency or any situation that requires immediate assistance from law enforcement personnel (police or sheriff), the Fire Department, or EMS (ambulance). If in doubt whether a situation is an emergency, call 9-1-1.

911 Basics and Tips

Don’t hang up the telephone if you dial 9-1-1 by mistake. Please stay on the telephone and wait for someone to answer and explain that you dialed by mistake and do not have an emergency.

911 for Kids

A telecommunicator answers the phone when you call 9-1-1. This person asks you questions to find out what kind of help you need, and then sends a police officer, fire truck or an ambulance to help you.
